Leaks, leaks everywhere. But this one is such exciting.
Oppo, though did not revealed anything from the recently concluded MWC 2017 other than their 5X technology, is set to announce its next generation of its F series smartphones (namely the Oppo F3 and Oppo F3 Plus) this month.
These new F series smartphones are expected to come with dual front camera for selfies and compete head-to-head against Vivo V5 and V5 Plus smartphones, which comes with 20 MP + 8 MP Dual front camera sensors (apparently for V5 Plus) along with flash.
Just ahead of the official launch, the technical specifications of Oppo F3 Plus has leaked. Our source managed to get a copy of the specification sheet of the device which lists out ALL the details of the upcoming selfie smartphone.
OPPO F3 Plus (Rumored Specs)
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor
- Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU
- 6.0-inch FHD display, 1920 x 1080 resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB expandable storage, up to 256GB via microSD
- 16-megapixel rear camera
- Dual front cameras, 16-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor
- Dual SIM, 4G LTE
- 4000mAh battery
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow (ColorOS 3.0)
The F3 Plus is pulling ahead against the Vivo V5 Plus with generally better core internals, though at a larger 6-inch form factor. What remains to be seen are the specifications of the F3 Plus’s cameras, on whether they’re up to compete directly against Vivo’s setup. No word yet on pricing or availability as of this moment.
The OPPO F3 Plus and its smaller sibling, the F3, are expected to be unveiled on March 23, as press invites have already been sent.
Hence, as with any other leak, take this report with a pinch of salt. Specifications may change though it will seem unlikely as the phones were already…… manufactured by this moment.
