Home » Samsung Galaxy S8’s clone hits China ahead of official product launch
Someone at the Chinese social media site Weibo got the heads of many scratching, as if they are showing off already a product that has been scheduled to release on the end of this month. But since this is China, we all know that this might be a counterfeit or 'cloned' version of the said phone.

If this is a real clone of the upcoming Galaxy S8, someone at Samsung is really in a hot seat right now.

Someone at the Chinese social media site Weibo got the heads of many scratching, as if they are showing off already a product that has been scheduled to release on the end of this month. But since this is China, we all know that this might be a counterfeit or ‘cloned’ version of the said phone. And why do we say somebody is in a hot seat right now? Simply, it’s because if somebody from Samsung explicitly leaked out a production unit to China, we are seeing below a working ‘clone’ of the Samsung’s upcoming flagship.

This photo shows the resemblance of the fingerprint sensor at the back, as well as the camera and the flash.

We’re not saying this is actually the real thing, though it’s a matter that we can laugh about but such major leak – if this clone is actually an exact copy of the real Galaxy S8– can be annoying not only for the South Korean tech giant, but also to someone who might feel responsible about this being interrogated right now.

But anyway, this fake Samsung Galaxy S8 looks a bit different to the earlier leaks we’ve seen but this phone boasts the familiar Samsung build. The slim bezels, rounded edges, fingerprint sensor at the back, and the missing home button is actially of the Galaxy S8 we’ve been describing.

We’ll leave Samsung to deal with it in case there is actually a leakage. We’re certain this isn’t the first time and Samsung isn’t the only victim. So funny that even pre-launch products were already victims of counterfeit and imitations. 😀
